From the IT Department
The IT department of the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools has recently pushed an update out to district Chromebooks. This update helps with performance and security-related issues. Most Chromebooks have updated with no issue, but for a small handful, there is an issue where the Chromebook will no longer turn on after the update. The good news is there is an easy fix for this. Performing the following steps should bring the Chromebook back to life quickly:
Hold Refresh (the button above the 4 key) and then Power for 5 seconds.
Release Refresh, Continue holding the power button for 5 seconds then release.
If no response, hold Power for 20 seconds.
This should resolve the issue. You can find this tip and many others on our "Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips" page by following the link below:

Cohort (class level) Google Classrooms
All students at CFHS have access to join their respective Google classroom for their specific grade level. This Google classroom will be used to post important information from a variety of sources including CFHS administration, executive committee, student council, school counselors, athletics, activities, media center and many more. Announcement links and Technology Tips will also be posted here as well as social emotional assignments. We ask all students to regularly check this during Tiger Time to keep up to date on events and information about the high school and to complete the advisory activities.
We have established a calendar that holds students accountable to specific times during the day. Student participation and attendance is a critical component of learning. During school building closures and throughout the year, we ask that you follow the procedures outlined in the link below.
