Cohort (class level) Google Classrooms

Thanks to the recommendation by several of our student leaders, we have launched our cohort (grade level) Google classrooms.  All students at the high school including Option 1 and Option 2 received an email invitation to join a google classroom for their specific grade level. This Google classroom will be used to post important information from a variety of sources including CFHS administration, executive committee, student council, school counselors, athletics, activities, media center and many more. Announcement links and Technology Tips will also be posted here as well as social emotional assignments. We ask all students to regularly check this during Tiger Time to keep up to date on events and information about the high school and to complete the advisory activities.

Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire

Cuyahoga Falls Schools is committed to ensuring the success and wellness of all students. And, one way we are addressing the whole child is by looking at student strengths and areas of concern for social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

As a result, we are asking our 9th grade parents and students to complete a “Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire” over the next two weeks.

The information obtained through this questionnaire will be used to inform social and emotional learning initiatives on a District, building, and individual level.

The link to the parent survey can be found in the letter below. It will only take 5 to 10 minutes of your time. If you opted to have your child participate in the student survey, he or she will complete the questionnaire the first two weeks of November during Tiger Time

Contact Holly Merkle, Coordinator of Wellness and Success, if you have any questions or concerns. Her phone number and email address can be found on the letter.

Thank you in advance for your support of this important initiative.
