The Home & School League works with teachers, staff, parents, and administration to ensure that every student has a successful and productive year. Please come and join us for a meeting to help enrich your child and your family’s experience at Silver Lake Elementary. The Home and School League will meet the first Thursday of each month at 9:15 a.m. in the conference room. Check in at the office and Mrs. Gerber will direct you where to go.
As parents and family members, one of the most important ways you can positively impact your child’s educational experience, raise self esteem, and improve the likelihood that he or she will attend college is by taking an active role in that process. The Home and School League is a group of volunteers who foster the home-school partnership through academic opportunities at Silver Lake Elementary (SLE). These events include COSI, Illusion Factory, class parties, movie night, the school art show, Mornings with Mom, Donuts with Dad, book fair, and fifth grade rec, among others. Please join us for a meeting and find out how you can help enhance your child’s experience at SLE.
To make suggestions, ask questions, or learn how to get involved, please email me any time.
For more imformation about the Home and School League, please email Andrea Hensley, the Home and School League president, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Home and School League has a mailbox in the school office that they check daily. Mrs. Gerber can place a letter or informaiton for them in the mailbox if you want.
We look forward to seeing you:
