The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food & Nutrition Services published a nationwide waiver extension for the Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option through Dec. 31, 2020. As a result, Cuyahoga Falls City School District (CFCSD) will be able to provide free breakfast & lunch meals to all children under the age of 18.
Starting Tuesday September 8, 2020, all children under the age of 18 can receive a free breakfast and lunch daily at all nine Cuyahoga Falls School Buildings from 10:30 am to 12:30pm.
All pickup sites may distribute meals to a parent or guardian to take home to their children, with no need to provide the sites with names or student ID numbers.
Mondays will be weekly meal pickup day. Families can pick up a full weeks’ worth of breakfast & lunch meals.
The district is working on a second afternoon meal pickup time that will start September 14, 2020 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, for families that can’t make the earlier pick up time. This is pending ODE approval.
Both breakfast & lunch meals will consist of a full reimbursable meal. The BT Café Crew is hard at work packing ready-to-eat meals and heat-n-eat meals with heating instructions. Fill out the Meal Request Form and stay up to date with the latest menu here.
