In February, Cuyahoga Falls Schools will begin a yearlong marketing campaign to entice both past attendees to rejoin the district, as well as attract those looking for a new district. “Over the past year, our district was forced to decrease enrollment to accommodate class size requirements driven by COVID-19,” said Dr. Todd Nichols, superintendent. “In 2021, we’d love for both past and future students to become a part of the Black Tiger Family.”
“Whether it’s in-person or remote, we have a lot to offer,” added Nichols. “We offer acceleration programs in math, social studies, art and English in our middle schools which lead to 22 Advanced Placement courses and 7 College Credit Plus courses in our high school. As a result, our students have graduated with nearly 1,000 college credits upon graduation from high school. Additionally, as a member of the Six-District Educational Compact, we offer 27 career and technical programs that are all linked with a university partner. Lastly, our offerings in the fine and musical arts are second to none which is why the Tiger Marching Band has been voted Best in Northeast Ohio.”
Beginning in February, monthly “Come on Home” communications will appear internally on the district website and social media, and externally in future ROAR publications and nontraditional media, like videos and billboards.
