Superintendent's Message | April 7

CFCSD Crest

April 7, 2021

Good evening Black Tiger Families, this is Dr. Nichols.

First, it has been wonderful seeing our students back in our schools the last couple days. They are the reason for our existence. And, we are focused on finishing strong with them in-person over the final two months of our school year.

Second, we have an exciting event scheduled for next Thursday evening that will kick off the design phase of our 6-12 building project. We are hosting a “Meet the Architect and Construction Manager” event at in the CFHS Auditorium Thursday, April 15 @ 6 p.m. To honor social distancing guidelines, capacity will be limited to 400 in-person attendees. Naturally, this is a free event, but we are using ticketing software. Please register to attend by visiting the link attached to the email version of this message or by going to our website under latest news. Ticketing will be closed next Wednesday, April 14th at 6 p.m.  Doors will open Thursday, April 15 at 5 p.m.  For those wishing to attend virtually or in the case the event is sold out, we will be live-streaming and recording the event.  The livestream link will be available on our website.

Third, we are moving ever closer to the 2021-2022 school year and we need your help. Please complete the attached commitment form, to let us know if your child will attend in-person or remotely in the Fall. You will have to complete a separate form for each child, which is a commitment for the entire school year. Completed forms need to be returned by April 14th. The link to this form is also included in the email version of this message and will be placed on the website under return to school and latest news sections.

Lastly, it has been brought to our attention that some people are not wearing masks at our bus stops.  Please be reminded to respect the health and safety of all.

Be well, stay safe, and as always GO BLACK TIGERS!
