Halloween Guidelines - October 28 Parade starts at 1:30 with parties following the parade
Please make sure your child's Halloween costume follows the school's dress code first and foremost. Students must be able to walk in their costume and must be able to see. Hair paint and glitter must be applied at home and students are allowed to attend school with painted hair on this day. Elaborate face paint should also be applied at home due to time available to get ready for the parade. The costume should be in a bag and be easily changed into without major assistance. It is recommended that costumes are able to be worn over other clothes.
The costumes should not contain any of the following: dripping blood, any plastic or real weapon of any kind, masks that are so scary that younger children will be freightened, and we are saying no to all clown costumes across the district. Please use good judgment when selecting a costume and remember that we have children who are five years old.
Room parents will be available to help students. Only room parents scheduled for the Halloween party are permitted to stay for the party. All other parents are invited to watch the parade outside. If we have inclement weather, the parade will be in the gymnasium.
