Requests for Student Information
As part of the COVID-19 school closings, staff are starting to receive many emails requesting student information. Cuyahoga Falls City Schools is required by both Federal Law - Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Ohio Revised Code 3319.321 Confidentiality, to maintain a high standard of privacy regarding student records.
With that in mind, Parents/guardians are reminded that the Only email address staff are only allowed to respond to,regarding student information, is the one listed in Progressbook/DASL. Many parents/guardians are working from home and often are already in a work account when a question comes to mind.
Please switch to the email account associated with your child's Progressbook account. before sending.
