Dear Black Tiger Family.
In our efforts to keep you informed, I wanted to share our latest edition of our weekly “Return to School 2020” newsletter with you. This week’s edition spotlights our Cuyahoga Falls High School “Fresh Farm” student learning garden, which has donated over 1,400 pounds of freshly grown produce to those in need throughout our community this year.
Also, you’ll find a variety of stories and links intended to support both students and families. As a district, it’s always been our desire to create and support a “culture of caring”, which is lasting, genuine and sincere. Being the hub of the community is something we take to heart – it’s part of who we are as members of the Black Tiger Family. Please take a few moments to read our newsletter, and reach out to us if you have questions or need anything from us.
On a different note, we are happy to report the USDA has provided us with a waiver to distribute free breakfast and lunch meals to all children under the age of 18. These meals will be available starting Tuesday, September 8th at each of our school buildings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families will also have the option of picking up a week's worth of meals on Tuesday. More details will be provided on our district website: www.cfalls.org
Finally, as we ease into our Labor Day weekend, please take this time to enjoy it with those you love. But, please continue to support proper safety protocols, as we all work to continue to drive down the spread of COVID-19. I invite you to read a recent letter that I’ve attached from Summit County Public Health, which echoes these thoughts.
Thank you for all you give to your families, your community, and our district. Be well, stay safe, and as always, Go Black Tigers!
