Cuyahoga Falls Preschool is Recruiting for Peer Models

We are seeking typically developing preschool students to serve as peer role models for the 2026 - 2027 school year. These children are an integral part of our program, as they provide peer interaction and social motivation for preschoolers with disabilities. This unique collaboration benefits all children, as peer relationships are foundational to social, communicative, and cognitive development.

Peer Model Requirements & Process

1. Who is Eligible?

   • Children must be residents of the Cuyahoga Falls City School District.

   • They must be at least three years old by August 1.

   • Peer models must be fully potty-trained and demonstrate age-appropriate self-help skills, such as dressing and eating.

   • Peer models should have good communication and social skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a smooth transition between activities.

   • They should be able to separate easily from their caregiver.

2. Tuition & Fees

   • Tuition for the 2026 - 2027 school year is set at $1,500.

   • A modified fee is available to families who qualify based on household income and family size.

3. How to Apply

   1. The first step is a screening process.   
      Please complete this Peer Preschool Application 2026-2027 and contact our preschool secretary, Amanda Cingle by calling (330) 926-3813, extension 502730, to sign up for a screening.

Important: Please do not enroll your child until after they have been screened and formally selected by our preschool team. We will contact you with the results and enrollment instructions after the full screening process is complete.
