Attending Board Meetings
The Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education meets at 5:30 pm in the library of the Cuyahoga Falls High School. The meeting schedule can be accessed here. Handicapped accessibility is provided by parking on the circular drive in front of the 4th Street entrance to the high school and entering the building through those doors.
Ohio Sunshine Law requires school board meetings to be open to the public with the exception of matters required to be kept confidential. These matters are discussed in Executive Sessions. By law, reasons for Executive Session include personnel matters such as employment, dismissal, promotion, demotion or compensation; the purchase or sale of property; negotiations; and conferences with legal counsel regarding pending court action. Any action taken by the Board that results from these sessions must take place at a public meeting.
