Hello, Black Tiger Family!
I am excited to have been named your new superintendent and am grateful for the opportunity to join the Cuyahoga Falls City School community. As an educator, being a superintendent has always been a dream of mine and I can’t wait to meet all the students, families, teachers and staff.
The reputation of Cuyahoga Falls City Schools is one of hardworking, dedicated and proud teachers and staff, all of whom go above and beyond to support each and every student. There is a lot that goes into being a Black Tiger, and I look forward to helping lead the way.
Part of why I wanted to come to CFCS is our focus on ensuring each student has the opportunity to succeed. I have always believed our students are the foundation of our community, and providing them with the tools they need to achieve their goals is the surest way to propel a community forward. I know the board of education, teachers, staff and previous superintendents have all worked hard to lay the groundwork for success, and I am honored to continue the work of so many.
As we look forward to the 2022-2023 school year, know that everyone at Cuyahoga Falls City Schools is focused on how to best provide for our students and families. We are in the midst of designing the new Cuyahoga Falls 6-12 Campus, teachers are incorporating new and innovative technology into their classrooms, the community continues to support our endeavors and all of this is in pursuit of the shared vision of creating a learning environment that is safe, open and nurturing.
You’ll be hearing more from me as we near the upcoming school year, and hopefully I’ll be able to meet and talk with as many of you as possible. Your contributions to our students’ success is critical to the goals of the community, and I know the Black Tiger Family is roaring to go.
In the meantime, please enjoy a safe and healthy summer, with eyes on the future. I thank you all for your warm welcome and support, and I am proud to be a member of a community focused on “Every student. Every day. Every opportunity!”
