Dear Lincoln Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are so thrilled to welcome our returning families back to school and extend a warm embrace to all of our new faces joining us this year. Walking through our halls, you can already feel the energy, excitement, and anticipation of everything this year has in store.

Our school is powered by the most dedicated staff around!  Our educators and team members genuinely love, nurture, and support your child’s growth every single day. They bring endless heart and commitment to our classrooms, making sure every student feels seen, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

As we step into this new school year, physical and emotional safety remains our absolute top priority. We are constantly refining our security measures and daily routines because children simply cannot learn or express themselves fully if they do not feel completely safe. Taking care of their well-being behind the scenes allows our students to walk into school each morning relaxed, confident, and ready to focus on learning and growing.

Building a strong culture and community continues to be at the heart of what we do. We are so excited to roll into Year 2 of our House System! While our students are grouped into 6 Houses, we always come together around one core identity: 6 Houses = 1 Lincoln Family. Continuing this system creates a deep sense of belonging for our students. It breaks down grade-level walls, builds peer mentorship, and teaches teamwork and leadership. When kids feel connected to their school community, attendance rises, positive behavior flourishes, and learning becomes natural and fun.

That sense of community extends directly into our partnership with you. We are deeply committed to strengthening family relationships and supporting our strong PTA group this year. When parents, guardians, and educators work together, our students thrive academically and socially. A strong PTA gives our families a direct voice in shaping school events, supporting our teachers, and creating joyful memories that enrich our students' school years.

Academically, our primary focus this year is building strong fluency in both reading and basic math facts. Fluency is the essential foundation for all future learning. When students can automatically recall math facts and sound out words without hesitation, their brains do not get fatigued by the basics. This opens up the mental space and confidence they need to tackle complex reading comprehension, multi-step problem solving, and higher-level critical thinking.
