It is hard to believe we have completed the first two quarters of our school year and have only two more to go.

We continue to be proud of all of the hard work our students and staff put into everything they do.  As we move into the second half of the school year, I know together we can sustain the positive and supportive learning environment for our students we have created together. We appreciate your teamwork in fostering this type of learning environment. We also greatly appreciate the value you place on education by having your student here on time each day and ready for school. 

Our new Tiger Store has been a huge success this year. It has been a tangible way for us to reinforce and recognize Black Tiger Pride with our students.  We want to continue to show that BTP and be respectful to one another, take responsibility for our actions and practice safety no matter where we go.  While I was watching a movie over winter break, one character was sharing that he believed every day we choose who we want to be. We will have big decisions and little ones, but they all matter. That idea is what we work hard to help our young students understand. Every decision we make is important no matter how big or small it seems. Whether it is how much time we spend reading or doing homework or how we decide to treat someone or something as simple as saying please and thank you. Every decision we make is an opportunity to do good.
