Dear Richardson Elementary Families,

Welcome to the start of a brand-new school year! As I step into my new role as your Principal, I am overcome with gratitude and excitement.

Having previously worked alongside so many of you right here at Richardson as a teacher and literacy coach, I already know how special this community is. I am honored to lead us into this next chapter together!

As we open our doors for the upcoming school year, our entire team is focused on a few core commitments:

• Safety First, Always: Creating a safe and welcoming environment is our absolute top priority. Every child deserves to feel physically safe and emotionally supported the moment they step into our building.

• Enthusiasm for Learning: We want school to be a place of joy, curiosity, and wonder. Our goal is to inspire a genuine love for learning that sparks creativity and encourages students to ask big questions!

• Academic Growth & Progress: Every child’s educational journey is unique. We are committed to setting high expectations, providing tailored support, and celebrating every milestone of academic progress your child achieves this year.

• Celebrating Our Amazing Staff: I am incredibly proud to work alongside our extraordinary team of teachers, specialists, and support staff. Their dedication and expertise are the heart of our school, and they are already hard at work preparing inviting learning spaces for our students.

Strong schools are built on strong partnerships between home and school. Whether you are a familiar face I've worked with before or a family new to our building, please know that your involvement and support are valued.

Keep an eye out for upcoming communications regarding our Open House on August 18th and additional information for the upcoming school year.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. Let’s make this year full of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories!

Warmly,

Mrs. Tina Maghes

Principal, Richardson Elementary School
