It may not look like it outside, but by the end of this grading period, there will be flowers and warm weather! What a great first half of the school year! At the semester break, our students have done tremendous work! Over 70% of our students earned Merit Roll or Honor Roll while almost 10% earned straight A’s in either Quarter 1 or Quarter 2! Our students’ hard work and dedication to their personal growth is inspiring to watch and be part of!
Quarter 2 was a bit of a transition as we moved from Fall sports to winter sports. Our girls and boys 7th and 8th grade basketball teams have shown great strides over the last few months with big wins! We are excited to see them both finish their season strong!
In addition to sporting events during Quarter 2, Roberts Middle School hosted our holiday band and choir concerts. Both events were well attended and the students did a fantastic job performing! Thank you Mr. VanCuren, Mr. Lang, Mr. Harris, and Mrs. Lambert for doing such a great job getting the students ready!
As Quarter 3 gets going, we begin ramping up for the spring testing schedule which will begin in April. Thank you to all of the parents who attended our conferences on February 22nd. This is a big quarter and is a bit of a grind so let’s keep supporting students to do the best they can!
If you ever need anything, please feel free to stop by or call my office anytime.
Let’s get to work!
