GOAL 1: Culture of Caring

The Cuyahoga Falls City School District is committed to fostering a Culture of Caring for all members of the Black Tiger Family. We believe that meeting the fundamental needs of individuals is essential for personal growth and success. Our goal is to prioritize and address these needs, from basic to advanced, ensuring that every student, staff member, and community member is supported in their journey. By focusing on the unique needs of our District population, we aim to create an environment where all individuals can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• OBJECTIVE 1:

  We will maintain and enhance a comprehensive support network that connects families with educational resources, eliminating barriers to ensure all students have equal opportunities to fully participate in their education.

• OBJECTIVE 2:

  All Black Tigers will learn and work in a safe and secure environment.

• OBJECTIVE 3: 
  All Black Tigers will experience a strong sense of belonging, where every individual feels connected to our
  school community. They will discover purpose by setting personal goals that contribute to their own growth
  and the growth of others. And they will be inspired by hope, fostering trust, ambition, and high expectations
  to guide them toward a clear and purposeful future.

We envision a future where all students are empowered to reach their full potential as lifelong learners and global citizens through personalized and innovative educational experiences that prepare students for employment, enlistment, and enrollment success.

• OBJECTIVE 1:

  Continuously improve student learning outcomes through RTI, our MTSS academic framework, by using diagnostic assessments to drive differentiated instruction.

• OBJECTIVE 2:

  Foster a culture of continuous instructional improvement by implementing evidence-based instructional strategies and rigorous and relevant curricula resulting in increased student achievement.

• OBJECTIVE 3:

  Empower students for postsecondary and professional success by developing students' skills in communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and digital literacy resulting in students being employed, enlisted or enrolled.
