We Want to Hear from Our Families!

We value your perspective and recognize that your support plays a vital role in your child’s success. To help strengthen school-family connections, we invite you to share your feedback through this survey. We have partnered with The Ohio State University's Family Engagement Center to develop a survey to discover our district's strengths and areas for improvement. Your responses are confidential and will only be reported as part of a group.

The school district will carefully review the results and develop plans to address the feedback provided. Every voice matters, and your input will help shape our efforts to improve and grow together.  We request that you complete the survey by Friday, January 31. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Christine Stewart at [email protected] or 330-926-3800 ext. 502004.

Asbestos Abatement Project at Price Elementary

Price Elementary has recently completed an asbestos abatement project. This work was undertaken as part of a small renovation project to replace flooring in two classrooms.

In keeping with our commitment to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students, staff, and visitors, we hired a licensed professional engineering firm to design the abatement project.  An Ohio EPA licensed Asbestos Hazard Abatement Contractor was then hired to complete the abatement work in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as the design specifications.  As recommended by U.S. EPA and other entities, we also hired the engineering firm to be on-site full-time to monitor contract compliance and conduct air sampling.

The abatement work took place on December 23rd, 24th, 26th and 27th in Rooms 10 and 11 of the school.  Upon completion, air sampling and inspections were conducted by the engineering firm; we are pleased to report that the air samples met clearance standards established by U.S. EPA.

If you have any questions or would like more information about this project, please feel free to contact Joseph Bagatti the Director of Business and Operations.

District Celebrates Selection of Two Students for 2025 Ohio All-State Jazz Ensemble

Cuyahoga Falls City School District is thrilled to announce that two talented student musicians from Cuyahoga Falls High School (CFHS) have been selected to perform with the prestigious 2025 Ohio All-State Jazz Ensemble. This achievement follows a rigorous audition process open to high school musicians from across Ohio. The selected students, Noah Adkins, a senior, and Ayden Stevens, a sophomore, will showcase their talents as part of the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Professional Development Conference in Cleveland in February 2025. This annual conference is among the largest in the United States, drawing music education professionals from across the state and the nation to celebrate and advance music education.

About the Students:

Noah Adkins is a senior at CFHS, where he performs with the Gold Tones and Symphonic Band. Noah is also actively involved with the Cleveland Youth Orchestra, Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, and the University of Akron Community Trombone Choir. Under the guidance of Dr. Lauren Rudzinskas, trombone professor at the University of Akron, Noah has honed his skills to become an accomplished trombonist.

Ayden Stevens, a sophomore at CFHS, performs with both the Gold Tones and Symphonic Band. He also showcases his talent as a member of the Tri-C JazzFest Academy Big Band and JazzFest Academy Small Group in Cleveland. In addition, Ayden is an active performer, playing in various duos, trios, and quartets at venues around Northeast Ohio. His jazz studies are under the mentorship of Grant Heineman, an accomplished vocalist and jazz pianist.

"We are incredibly proud of Noah and Ayden for this well-deserved recognition," said Principal Jason Smith. "Their dedication and talent truly reflect the strength of our music program here at Cuyahoga Falls City School District. We look forward to their outstanding performances in Cleveland this February."

The OMEA conference performance is a significant milestone for Noah, Ayden, and the entire CFHS music community, highlighting the district's commitment to fostering exceptional musical talent and supporting students’ artistic aspirations.
